2007 Men’s Retreat

Jim has served our network of churches, both TrueBridge and more recently the sub-network of Outfitters, for over 25 years as the overseer. He travels sharing God’s wisdom with other networks of churches as well. Far more than an inspirational speaker, he serves as a father in the faith and God’s authority in our network. Like Paul in the Bible, who said, “Even though you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.” (1 Cor. 4:15), Jim’s passion is to relate to us on a personal level. Jim and his wife Mary reside in Eden Prairie. Last year he handed the reins of CityHill Fellowship to Jim Erickson, and has since been released to minister and travel apostolically. |
| The purpose of the annual men’s retreats is to equip men for the challenges of maintaining a Christian witness in their homes and at work as well as to receive personal ministry and to fellowship with other men. Our retreat is sponsored by Neil Thielke with the Outfitters group of churches in Morris, and Bernie Wing with Grace Life Church in Marshall. |

A (quicker?) route from Fergus would be to proceed east on Hwy 210 out of Fergus Falls. Note: there are two Hwy 210 exits off of I-94. If coming from Fargo on I-94, take the 2nd 210 exit. Turn RIGHT on 425th ave one mile east of Clitherall and proceed south. This turns into Cty Rd 5 Turn RIGHT onto SPITZER LAKE RD (see Inspiration Point sign on left) 1.1 miles Continue all the way to the camp |
